Out of the total, 1,693 candidates scored a straight A, while 246,391 candidates attained the minimum university entry grade of C+.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exam Results Breakdown<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the results, the following grades were recorded:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1,693<\/strong> students scored an A.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7,743<\/strong> students attained an A-.<\/li>\n<li><strong>19,150<\/strong> students achieved a B+.<\/li>\n<li><strong>43,120<\/strong> scored a B.<\/li>\n<li><strong>75,347<\/strong> earned a B-.<\/li>\n<li><strong>99,338<\/strong> received a C+.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Ministry of Education maintained the university entry grade at C+ despite earlier rumors of a proposed change to B-. The Ministry dismissed the viral claims as baseless, reaffirming the existing threshold for university admissions.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How to Check KCSE 2024 Results<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Students, parents, and teachers can access the results through the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) portal.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Visit the KNEC Portal<\/strong><br \/>\nLog on to <strong>results.knec.ac.ke<\/strong>, the official platform for checking results.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Input Candidate Details<\/strong><br \/>\nEnter the index number and one of the names registered during KCSE registration. If the information is correct, the results will be displayed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Get the Official Result Slip<\/strong><br \/>\nCandidates can collect their official result slips from their schools or examination centers. It\u2019s essential to verify the details for accuracy, including names and grades.
